What we collect

• Form inputs you provide— partner's name, your name, gender, traits, what you love about them, a special memory, and occasion. These are sent to our AI model providers solely to generate your poem.
• A signed rate-limit cookie — a short-lived, HttpOnly cookie with a 24-hour expiry. Combined with a hashed IP address, it enforces the 5 poems-per-day fair-use limit. It carries no personal data.
• Standard analytics — aggregate, anonymized usage data via an analytics provider (page views, approximate region, device category). No personally identifying information.

What we do not collect

• No user accounts, logins, or passwords.
• No stored poems — generated output is returned to your browser and discarded server-side.
• No email address, phone number, or payment information.
• We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
• Your inputs are not used to train any AI model.

Third-party services

Your inputs are transmitted to the following processors for the sole purpose of generating your poem or running the site:

• AI model providers — used solely to generate your poem.
• Cloud hosting provider — used to serve the site and route requests.
• Analytics provider — used for aggregate traffic measurement.

Each of these processors has their own privacy practices; they only receive data strictly necessary to perform their function.

Cookies

We use two categories of cookies:

• Essential — the rate-limit cookie that enforces the daily fair-use limit. Required for the site to function fairly.
• Analytics — standard analytics cookies used for aggregate traffic measurement.

Data retention

• Form inputs are discarded immediately after the poem is generated.
• The rate-limit cookie expires automatically after 24 hours.
• Analytics data is retained for approximately 14 months under our default retention setting.

Your rights

If you are in the European Union, United Kingdom, or California, the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA give you the following rights in relation to personal data we process:

• Right to access the data we hold about you.
• Right to correct inaccurate data.
• Right to delete your data.
• Right to object to processing.
• Right to withdraw consent (for analytics).
• Right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Because we do not create user accounts or store your poems, most of these rights are satisfied by default. For anything else, contact us at the email below.

Children under 18

Love Poem AI is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
